Dr. Andersen Alida, Dentist

I had several visits with Dr. Andersen, and with each I gained more and more trust of her knowledge, skills and care for her patients. She takes time to explain treatments and what is actually happening with your mouth. She has a kind and calm personality, and does not seem to be money hungry (which are qualities I like to see in my dentist). Highly recommend her.

I recently broke a tooth and, being new to Toronto, asked my friends family and colleagues to recommend a dentist. My son was the most enthusiastic, labeling his dentist as young, professional, knowledgeable and well skilled in the most current techniques and technologies, and important for him… "she consults with you at every step of the process - describing options available prior to treatment and keeping you informed during a procedure". I booked an appointment with Dr. Alida Andersen and was very impressed with her patient, calm, competent demeanour. She is highly skilled and uses the most modern technologies and equipment (especially important to me is the use of modern x-Ray imaging equipment emitting minimal x-Rays). Her dental assistant, Carolyn is also highly competent, well skilled, patient, considerate and communicative. Dr. Andersen makes every effort to ensure your comfort during a procedure. She is patient, kind, thorough, competent and, ultimately takes the "nervousness" out of your (or my) visit to the dentists office. I would highly recommend Dr. Alida Andersen and am grateful that I have found such a highly skilled dentist to look after my dental needs.

The most humane dentist I have ever encountered! Although it was my first time with Dr Andersen, she made me feel so well taken care of. In this distressed situation, she conveyed to me that she is not about $, but actually best care for her patient. It's not every day that people go out of their way to truly help you, and she did. Thank you!

Always a great experience at this clinic! Dr. Alida Andersen has been my primary dentist for several years, who has always made sure that I’m at best hands and well taken care of. She is professional, caring and knowledgeable. She has performed excellent treatments over the years, and has made continuous efforts to ensure my well-being when it comes to dental health. her assistant Carolin is also great and they make a wonderful team. Another pleasant experience at this clinic. Nice and friendly staff. Enjoyed watching a documentary while getting my dental work with Dr. Andersen. She has a good personality, and she makes me feel confident in her work quality.

It feels that I have finally found a dentist I like. My last several visits with Dr Alida Andersen has been very positive and pleasant. I find her professional and also a very caring person. She was very thorough with my dental examination, and took the time to go over everything, including showing and explaining my xrays, and addressing my questions and concerns. I never had a dentist explaining in such details (that I can make sense of) the reason why flossing is so important and the jawbone and gum affects if I don't floss. I'm actually more motivated to floss than ever! :) When it came to doing my filling, she and her assistance (Caroline) made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I hate getting freezing but it was much better than I remember it as I found her being very gentle. The filling feels nice and smooth and no complain about that! I will be coming back in the fall for my routine check up!

With Dr. Alida, I couldn't feel in better hands. Without a doubt, the most professional and most caring dentist I have met. Highly recommendable!

Dr. Andersen made what I feared would be an unpleasant experience actually quite painless.

I had pain in my tooth and was very afraid to go to dentist. I saw Dr Andersen and she was very kind to me and I felt very comfortable with her. I don;t have insurance but she helped me be able to get the dental work I need. She did my root canal which I was so afraid at first, but with her gentle work I felt very comfortable and I don't have any more pain. I call her an angel! Thank you doctor!

I saw Dr Alida Andersen for my dental check up. She was very professional and EXTREMELY sweet. Like most people, I was not looking forward to going in for my check up because I was afraid of possibly having to have work done... But she was very gentle and made me feel comfortable. She genuinely spent the time explaining things to me (and that's way more than I can say for a few other dentists I experienced), including risks and benefits if I were to take out my take out my wisdom teeth. She also fixed my front tooth which I was not happy with! Basically, you can tell that she really cares about her patients and her work! I am very happy and recommend the clinic and the dentist.
