I am Dr. Andrew Kay, Periodontist; in other words a certified specialist in Periodontology. Since 2002, my practice philosophy and goal is to deliver excellent, accessible and affordable evidence-based dental treatment and patient care. We treat our patients like family, and strive to provide a comforting, caring and stress-free environment.
As a specialist in Periodontics, Dr. Kay spent three years AFTER regular dental school solely studying periodontics and dental implants surgery and treating diseases and conditions which affect the gums and supporting structures of teeth.
He has lectured nationally and internationally, and has conducted numerous scientific studies in the field.
As your periodontist, I will proactively work in partnership with your dentist to develop a specialized treatment plan, one that delivers the functional and aesthetic results you desire.
He stays actively involved in researching the latest advancement practices in periodontology, implants and bone biology. The procedures we offer include dental implants and bone grafting, crown lengthening, gum grafting, scaling and root planning, and periodontal cleaning and maintenance.

My educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree from McGill University, a Master’s of Science in Orthopaedic Reserach, also from Mcgill, my Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Toronto and a three year post-graduate Master’s Degree in Periodontology, also at the University of Toronto. I am also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a member of the International time for Implantology (among other national and international groups)
